Work up an appetite for Denver’s culture and great eats by running at altitude in the Mile High City. The mud of May has dried up, gone and with it the majority of the spring pollen. The landscape is green and brisk winds cut through the 85° days. Bars, bakeries and restaurants have awoken after the lull of off-season and Denver is bursting with a variety of activities, festivals, farmers markets and races.

Jodi’s Race for Awareness | June 9th

This is a 5k/1 mile walk/run raising awareness and funds for Ovarian Cancer. The race starts in City Park in Denver, Colorado on Saturday June 9th.

Strides For Epilepsy | June 10

This is a 5k walk/run to support the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado. It starts in City Park in Denver, Colorado on Sunday, June 10th.

Pride Fest 5k | June 16

This is a 5k walk/run that supports the GLBT Community Center of Colorado. It starts at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver, Colorado on Sat. June 16th.

Castle Rock Half Marathon | June 23rd

If you like the idea of pushing yourself at 6000 feet above sea level and enjoy the rugged beauty of a high altitude desert you might want to try the Castle Rock Half Marathon, and support the Colorado Fallen Heroes Foundation at the same time! The race starts Phillip S. Miller Park, in Castle Rock, Colorado on Saturday, June 23rd.

Miles for Melanoma | June 24

This 5k run/walk is to raise awareness and funds for Melanoma research. Put on your sunscreen and get to Stapleton Central Park in Denver, Colorado on Sunday June 24th.
Bring your friends and experience the sensational city of Denver in the summer! Get some exercise, enjoy the city’s many beautiful parks and walkways and for great causes like these!
